Metal Gear Online, the online action game that will be released as the multiplayer portion of the just released Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show this year, allowing players the chance to go hands on with it themselves, and that is clearly something Kojima is excited about.
He has been tweeting pictures of the Konami booth, where the game will be playable (a new mode for the game is also anticipated to be announced this week), and he seems to be hard at work even now, apparently working on some trailer that will presumably be made available at TGS.
Metal Gear Online will be made available for free to all players of Metal Gear Solid V, across all platforms. Hopefully, this time, Metal Gear Online is not a story of missed potential as it has been ever since Metal Gear Solid 3.
