Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be getting a comparison trailer in the coming weeks leading up to its release, according to director Hideo Kojima. The trailer will serve to highlight the differences between the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 versions – though Kojima by his own admission says the PS4 version looks the best.
Tweeting the announcement, Kojima said that, “Since I’m getting lots of questions, we are making the trailer showing the comparisons.
“I’ll provide a comparative video of each version of Ground Zeroes, but it’s difficult to do because it’s hard to see the difference when it comes to broadcasting compressed video on the net. It’s also hard to understand the difference in frame rate. Maybe it’s better if you get a download? You’ll definitely understand the differences when you’ll play the game.”
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes releases on March 18th in North America and March 20th in Europe for current and next gen platforms. Visual differences aren’t the only thing separating the Xbox and PlayStation versions – the former will be receiving exclusive Raiden missions while the latter will have retro MGS style missions taking place in Shadow Moses.
