Following the drama yesterday, Hideo Kojima has finally reassured fans that he will seeing through the development Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. In a statement released by Konami, Hideo Kojima stated that he will try his best to make The Phantom Pain the best game he is ever directed.
“I want to reassure fans that I am 100 percent involved and will continue working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,” he said in the statement released by Konami. “I’m determined to make it the greatest game I’ve directed to date. Don’t miss it!”
However, Konami did not commented on the rumors about Kojima leaving Konami when he is done with Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Konami have already made things clear that they are going to work on a new Metal Gear series and have already started to hire staff for the same.
This is most likely Kojima’s last game at Konami which makes us wonder what will happen to Silent Hills, a game that was under development with Guillermo del Toro.
