Metal Gear Solid 5 Launch Trailer Releasing August 25th, Will Express Gratitude To Old Fans

This trailer will likely be the last Metal Gear trailer directed by Kojima.

With Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain just a over a week away, we’re getting more information about the game every day. We’re also seemingly getting a new gameplay footage every day. Konami is clearly wanting to show off just what makes this game one that is getting such good early reviews and now Kojima is truly jumping into the fray. While he has worked on a number of the videos that have come out, the latest one is going to be the most bittersweet, because it will apparently be the last he puts together.

Kojima took to Twitter to announce that the very last trailer before Phantom Pain is launched will be released on August 25. While this isn’t always huge news, it is when it comes to Hideo Kojima and the final production of this particular trailer. This will apparently be the last time that Kojima works on a Metal Gear game for Konami and the director is clearly getting ready for the end of an era. Gamers around the world are also getting ready for the end of an era and there are more than a few that are quite emotional about this.

The new and final trailer that is airing on August 25 is going to show off the game, and also pay homage to the fans. Kojima has named the new trailer, “Progress and Harmony of Metal Gear (And gratitude to the fans of the past)” It should be quite interesting to see just what Kojima has in store.
