Metal Gear Solid 5: Metal Gear Online Disconnections, Lag And Other Issues Addressed By Konami

Konami seems on top of the big issues facing this game when it comes to the online aspects.

While the launch of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has been mostly positive, there have been a number of little issues that have popped up here and there for the online component. Konami took to Twitter in order to take on a few of the problems and questions that have surfaced since Metal Gear Online 3 went live. Among those issues are the reports that people are suffering from disconnections and lagging while they are playing the game as well as while they are waiting for it to load.

While Konami wasn’t specific about how the company was working to fix these problems, they do say they are going to be working quite hard in order to make sure they don’t continue. In particular, when talking about long delays in the CQC mode, the company tweeted out that they are “considering some specific adjustments to CQC to counter this concern.” Another issue which Konami says has been fixed is getting too many XPs after completing a mission.

The company says this glitch has been ironed out when it comes to moving forward. The firm also said that if there are people who feel they are still being victimized by this, they should contact Konami’s customer service. Finally, the firm talked about the people who have been trying to play in a party but they are not included in the same party every time they log on, Konami says they understand why this is happening and they’re working on making sure that problem stops occurring moving forward.
