Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain made an appearance at Sony’s Gamescom presser with director Hideo Kojima on stage. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to showcase except for…well, check it out for yourself above.
The trailer showcases various way to use the cardboard box to your advantage. You can prop it up horizontally or vertically and even put a paper bag on your head to hide. Yes, we don’t understand it either and Kojima didn’t reveal anything else remotely resembling a release date any time soon. Overall, a severe anti-thesis to what we saw at E3 2014.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is rumoured to be releasing in 2015 though no indication has been given from Konami regarding the same. It will be heading to Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.
