Here’s something you probably didn’t need to be told about the hugely anticipated upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game is going to be masive in scope and awesome to play. But who was it that said this? Well, it was none other than the “categorically wrong” voice actress, Donna Burke who recently kicked the hornets nest when she alleged that Kojima had been fired from, rather than having left, Konami.
In a post on Facebook, she said, “MGSV has been made, it is ground breaking, breath taking in its scope and the team that made it is still in place putting the finishing touches to it at Roppongi Midtown up the road from my studio. It’s just such a shame that in these few months before the release when the team should be ramping up publicity, joyfully communicating with fans, building up the excitement etc, they have to deal with this…Fans unite!”
“Make Kojima Productions proud of you and don’t desert the team when they need your support the most. In the end, the game you will play will be worth the wait and the blood, sweat and tears they have put into it.” Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain launches on 1st September, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and 15th September on Steam.
