Commenting on the development of the hugely anticipated upcoming sandbox game that is Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Hideo Kojima has came out singing the praises of his team. After commenting on “putting together” the games various aspects, he said “I was re-watching the making of MGS4, the version narrated by Director Tsukamoto that shipped with the game and hasn’t been broadcasted over CS or BS.”

He further stated that, “It has been six years since then. Times have changed. Technology, tools, games and even fashion changed. What what I’m doing did not change. It should be the same for movies. It’s creating with ultimate passion (laughs).”

He also recently shared an image that was captured during the development of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots which shows him in the studio alongside other developers and staff capturing vocals for the game. It’s amazing how Kojima hasn’t lost his utmost devotion to making games even after so many years.
