Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain Review: Hobby Consolas Awards It 97/100, “Best Stealth Game Yet”

It seems the plot twists will "destroy all expectations within the community".

More Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain reviews are coming to light, the latest being from Spanish gaming magazine HobbyConsolas. Based on post from a Spanish forum, NeoGAF managed to translate some of the major positives and negatives.

The magazine awards The Phantom Pain a score of 97 out of 100. While the Spanish translation isn’t too good in the game, the magazine also claims it’s “Not as moving as other MGS titles.” Then again, the reviewer also states that the plot twists will “destroy all expectations and will be a big conversation subject in the community.” He then goes on to call this the “best stealth game yet” though the fact that he’s a big MGS fan could be a factor here.

As for the review itself, Twitter user M4n recently revealed the scan with the final review score and the scoring for various aspects of the same. The scan can be found here. Update: Furthermore, Reddit user translated the entire review which gives away few interesting new details about the game: Sometimes during the game, the player will be given two options depending on what you select you may or may not meet certain characters. Furthermore, the game’s soundtracks from 1980s may make you cry and get emotional over it and a script capable of moving you to tears.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be out on September 1st for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
