Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor VA Cast, New Story Trailer Revealed

Make the Orc army your own and march to Mount Doom to take on Nolan North.

Monolith Productions’ Assassin’s Creed: LotR Edition…er, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was already confirmed to feature Troy Baker playing the protagonist Talion. It’s now been revealed that Nolan North, famed for playing Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, will be playing the antagonist Black Hand.

Other cast members include Alastair Duncan (of Mass Effect fame) playing Wraith, Laura Bailey (Halo 4, The Last of Us) playing Ioreth and Liam O’Brien (inFamous: Second Son, GTA 5) playing Gollum. It also seems that Garry Schyman will be composing the original score for the game.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be releasing on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 7th. It sees players taking on the role of Talion, a Ranger with Wraith-like abilities such as teleportation, intimidation and mind control. It will feature a combat system reminiscent of Batman: Arkham City’s Free Flow fighting while the movement and stealth take inspiration from Assassin’s Creed. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
