Monster Hunter Rise on PC Receives 9 Minutes of 60 FPS Gameplay

Hunts with Mizutsune and Magnamalo are showcased along with some settings. The PC version is out on January 12th 2022.

Capcom finally provided release date of January 12th 2022 for Monster Hunter Rise on PC. Along with 4K resolution support, it also allows for uncapped frame rates. IGN Japan has nine minutes of gameplay footage available, showcasing the PC version’s increased fidelity and 60 FPS frame rate. Check it out below.

In addition to the above, PC players can also take advantage of high-resolution textures and support for 21:9 Ultrawide displays. A demo will be available on October 13th for Steam, though it’s unknown what content can be expected. The gameplay below showcases hunts with Mizutsune and Magnamalo, both present in the second demo on Nintendo Switch, so they could possibly be in the PC demo.

Along with the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom also revealed the first details for Sunbreak, its upcoming paid expansion which releases in Summer 2022. In addition to new story, new base and new locales, players will contend with a new Elder Dragon, Malzeno, and partake in Master Rank quests. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
