Monster Hunter Rise

With Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise just a few weeks out from launch, a new limited-time demo has gone live on the Nintendo eShop. It features pretty much all of the content from the previous one but adds Magnamalo as a new Advanced hunt. Check out the trailer below to see some of its capabilities.

Magnamalo serves as the flagship monster for the new release. As a Fanged Wyvern, it’s primarily focused on ground combat with long-range attacks, swipes, tail whips and much more. Players may find themselves outmatched in the demo fight, especially with their equipment being locked, so keep that in mind going in.

Monster Hunter Rise releases March 26th for the Switch with a PC release slated for early 2022. Following its launch, Capcom will release several free updates, the first adding Chameleos and other new monsters while also unlocking the Hunter Rank cap. A future update will also bring a conclusion to the story so stay tuned.
