Along with revealing several mechanics for Monster Hunter Rise, like Switch skills and the Rampage, Capcom also confirmed that a second free demo was coming. It will be available on March 11th and feature all of the content of the first demo with one exception. Magnamalo is being added as a hunt, allowing players to test their strength against it.

Interestingly, the developer also talked about its post-launch plans. It confirmed that several new monsters and an unlocked HR cap would be coming in April. Chameleos is the first new monster, utilizing camouflage to sneak up on its prey. Much like Monster Hunter World, there will be several free updates released for Rise in the coming months.

Monster Hunter Rise is out on March 26th for Nintendo Switch, and a PC version is in the works as well. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days especially with the second demo inbound. As for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, it has a release date of July 9th for the Switch and PC.
