Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released yesterday worldwide for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, ushering in Master Rank quests, new monsters, brand new region, and much more. Despite some issues, the launch on Steam has been very. According to SteamDB, the action RPG hit an all-time peak concurrent player count of 194,459 players in the first 24 hours.
This is a fairly big jump from the base game’s Steam launch, which saw over 90,000 peak concurrent players on launch day. It’s still well below the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC which had 284, 524 peak concurrent players on its first day. Nevertheless, Sunbreak is the second best-selling title on Steam currently.
