Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak received a new trailer in the recent Nintendo Direct Mini, revealing a plethora of details. First, it confirmed the return of Shagaru Magala, Gore Magala’s adult form and an Elder Dragon from Monster Hunter 4 that can unleash Earth attacks. It also showcased new subspecies like a new Magnamalo with blades on its arms.

Other monsters like the new Elder Dragon Malzeno, Lunagaron, Furious Rajang and more are featured. However, the trailer seems to hint at an even bigger threat, not unlike Thunder Serpent Narwa from the base game or Shara Ishvalda from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. We’ll find out what it is when Sunbreak launches on June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC.

As for post-launch, Seething Bazelgeuse will be arriving along with Lucent Nargacuga in Title Update 1. It goes live in August and features other rare and special species monsters along with the Forlorn Arena as a new locale.
