Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is Out Now on Xbox and PlayStation

The expansion introduces Master Rank quests, Follower Quests, new Skills, higher-rarity weapons, and new endgame activities.

Capcom’s massive expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak, is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC via the Microsoft Store. It includes post-launch content up to Title Update 3, with new monsters like Lucent Nargacuga, Flaming Espinas and Chaotic Gore Magala. Check out the launch trailer below.

Available first for Nintendo Switch and PC last year, Sunbreak sees players traveling to Elgado Outpost in pursuit of the Three Lords. After the kingdom falls into ruin, players must take down these powerful monsters and see peace return to the region. Of course, it’s never that simple, as mysterious Qurio also abound.

In addition to new regions, a new story and Follower Quests quests, Sunbreak introduces Master Rank hunts for Monster Hunter Rise players. There are also Rarity 8 to 10 weapons, new Skills and Talismans to equip, and post-game features like Anomalous Investigations and Anomalous Crafting to undertake.
