The latest iteration in the Monster Hunter series is Monster Hunter: World. Unlike previous games in the series, Monster Hunter World will allow for a seamless transition between the different areas or zones across the game world.

Famitsu has now released 24 minutes of gameplay footage of Monster Hunter World which plays through the demo that was showcased at the Tokyo Game Show. The video allows viewers a glimpse into the game’s graphics as well as the different areas and monsters in the game. Like previous entries in the series, players will be tasked with hunting down and thereafter killing or capturing the various monsters that lurk about in the world. Players can use loot obtained from the monsters to create better equipment which in turns allows them to face more dangerous foes.

The game will be out worldwide on January 26th for the Playstation 4  and the Xbox One. The PC version of the game does not have a release date as of yet.
