Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Dev Diary Details High Rank Layered Armor, Stygian Zinogre, and More

Capcom details all of the changes and new features coming in tomorrow's Title Update.

Capcom has put together a new developer diary highlighting all of the new content and features coming in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s next Title Update. Along with a new Guiding Lands region (Tundra), we also get a look at Stygian Zinogre. If you were already facing trouble with the current version, then this one ups the ante further.

But there’s another monster that may bring some more trouble: Tempered Ruiner Nergigante. As the name indicates, this is a tougher version of the Master Rank Elder Dragon and will deal a lot more damage. For non-Iceborne players, there are new Defender Weapons that can be crafted in addition to the armor set to further prep for the expansion. Information on the Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds collaboration quest has also been provided for PS4 players.

If that wasn’t enough, High Rank Layered Armor has been added to the cosmetic pool, allowing players to customize their looks even further. Capcom is working to include Iceborne Layered Armor so stay tuned for more details on that. The second Iceborne Title Update goes live tomorrow at 12 AM PT on Xbox One and PS4 so stay tuned for more details.
