Monster Hunter World: Iceborne PC Releases on January 9th 2020, Supports 4K

Guardian Armor is coming to PC players while Rajang will arrive at a "later date."

Capcom has released the first trailer for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC and confirmed a release date. The critically acclaimed expansion will arrive on January 9th 2020 for Steam, bringing several new monsters, new weapons and Master Rank to PC players. Check out the trailer below to see the PC version in action.

Graphically, you can expect high resolution textures, support for 4K resolution and an uncapped frame rate. Ultrawide monitor support and DirectX 12 support is also confirmed. The company also confirmed that Guardian Armor, a free defense-heavy armor set to prep for Iceborne, would be coming soon to PC.

Rajang is also coming to PC but at a later date. Given how the fanged beast arrived roughly one month after the expansion launched, PC players won’t have to wait too long to take him on. Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out our review of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for consoles.
