It hasn’t even been a week since Monster Hunter World: Iceborne released worldwide and Capcom already announced the first post-launch monster that was coming. It’s Rajang, a brutal primate who takes no prisoners and at Tokyo Game Show 2019, the developer confirmed that he’d be added on October 10th. Check out the trailer below.

Rajang is an “ultra-aggressive” monster that can use its arms to punch out hunters. As the fight progresses, its fur turns golden when enraged. Perhaps the toughest thing to deal with is its mouth blast which fires a powerful burst of electricity. If that wasn’t enough, Rajang can pick up and throw hunters with ease.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is currently available for Xbox One and PS4. It releases for PC via Steam in January 2020. Check out our official review of the expansion, which comes highly recommended for fans, here. Stay tuned for more information from Tokyo Game Show 2019 in the meantime.
