The Square Enix Summer Showcase has been an absolute treat, with in-depth looks at some of the most highly-anticipated games such as Babylon’s Fall and Eidos Montreal’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game. In addition to these juggernauts, Square Enix also released new trailer for NieR: Re[in]carnation, which has been out in Japan for a while, but is coming west as well.
The trailer showcases the game’s beautiful world, and sets the stage for a “sad and evocative tale that echoes throughout eternity.” NieR: Re[in]carnation is the first mobile entry in the long-running series, and is being developed by Applibot and directed by Yoko Taro himself.
Pre-registrations for the game are live, and interested fans should definitely get themselves registered as soon as possible. The game seems promising, and the involvement of creative masterminds like Yoko Taro prove that NieR: Re[in]carnation is not just a cash-grab. More showcases and reveals are due for the day, so stay tuned.
