Although Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty has already been available on the PlayStation 4 for a while now, there were also some other versions of the game announced- PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and so far, all of these versions have been in development limbo for while now. Well, today, the developers of the game broke the silence on some of those versions- the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 3 version release dates were (finally) announced.
The game will be launching on PC in February over Steam, and it will be compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It will cost $20 / £15 / €20, with a further 10% discount on pre-purchases, and it will include all of the post-launch improvements and tweaks made to the PlayStation 4 version, including the fan-requested ‘old school’ control settings, feature the same celebrated QuikSave and QuikLoad functions and of course offer a full rack of achievements and online leaderboards for speedrunners, and cloud saves on Steam.
In addition, they also announced that the game will be out on PS3 and Xbox One some time in early March, though that was as specific as they would get- which is, honestly, still a whole lot better than their continuing (and worrying!) silence on the Wii U and PS Vita versions!
