One Piece Odyssey Demo is Now Available on Xbox and PlayStation

The demo covers the first two hours, with progress transferring to the full game. The RPG is out on January 13th for consoles and PC.

The demo for One Piece Odyssey, new turn-based RPG based on Eiichiro Oda’s hit manga/anime, is now available. It’s live on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores and requires 8.37 GB of installation space.

Developed by ILCA (of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl fame), One Piece Odyssey sees the Straw Hat Pirates traveling to the mysterious island of Waford. To retrieve their abilities, they must revisit areas from their memories. The demo is taken from the game and covers the first two hours of the story.

It will acquaint players with some of the mechanics, though you’ll stop short of accessing areas like Water Seven and Alabasta Kingdom. Progress from the demo carries over into the full game, allowing one to continue where they left off.

One Piece Odyssey is out on January 13th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Head here for more details on the battle system, exploration, and more.
