Bandai Namco Entertainment and ILCA have released a new video for One Piece Odyssey, the upcoming turn-based RPG based on Eiichiro Oda’s hit manga. It sees producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki discussing the demo, which is available for consoles on January 10th. Check it out below.

The demo is from the first one to two hours of the main game, providing some context on the story and combat. Not all mechanics are available from the outset, though. On the bright side, all progress transfers into the main game, allowing those who purchased it to continue where they left off.

Those who played the demo also get a free item, “Golden Jelly,” in the main game to help on their journey. If you’re jumping in to see the Alabasta Kingdom or Water Seven, they take place after the demo’s content, so you’ll need to play the full game.

One Piece Odyssey is available on January 13th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. For more details on its various systems, head here.
