Bandai Namco’s One Piece Odyssey releases next month and presents an original story with the Strawhat Pirates based on Eiichiro Oda’s famous manga. For those who want to try before buying, a free demo will release on January 10th, 2023, with save data carrying over into the full game.
A new trailer has also been released, confirming two more story arcs – Marineford and Dressrosa. The former sees Luffy and various escapees from Impel Down traveling to Marine HQ to save Ace from execution. With the Whitebeard Pirates, Marine Forces, Seven Warlords of the Sea and more clashing, it’s a battle of massive proportions.
Dressrosa sees the crew helping Sabo, Luffy’s childhood friend, and Trafalgar Law against Doflamingo, a former Shichibukai member and underworld broker. Other confirmed arcs include Water Seven and Alabasta Kingdom, though how they’re manifesting in Odyssey is unknown.
One Piece Odyssey is out on January 13th, 2023, worldwide for Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and PS5. Stay tuned for more details until then.
