Outer Wilds Might Be Headed to the PS4, As Per Korean Rating

One of the best games of 2019 might be headed to Sony's console.

Earlier this year, indie studio Mobius Digital released Outer Wilds, and it was immediately met with widespread critical acclaim from critics and wider audiences alike. People took to its blend of open world exploration and roguelike gameplay immediately- sadly, the game wasn’t made available to everyone, only launching on PC and Xbox One.

However, it seems like PS4 players might be getting the game soon, with the Game Rating and Administrtion Committee of Korea having rated Outer Wilds for Sony’s console (via Gematsu). This is not an official announcement, of course, and until such time that happens it’s best not to get your hopes too high. That said, games receiving ratings from certification boards is almost always a surefire way of telling what consoles they’ll be headed to.

Switch owners- be patient. Maybe the game will eventually launch on Nintendo’s hybrid as well. As for the PS4 version, we’ll let you know if and when an official announcement is made, so stay tuned.
