We’re just about a week away from getting to Outriders. One of the first games to be revealed for new gen consoles, it took us a good while to get there, but here we are. The game promises a solid and more or less complete package, with DLC that adds to the game instead of adding stuff that should have been there to begin with, at least according to the developers. Now we have a break down of when you can pre-load and when things will launch in your region.
Via the game’s official Reddit, the spreadsheet for the various platforms has been released. Those on Xbox platforms can pre-load starting today, and that includes via Xbox Game Pass, where the game will be launching. For PlayStation platforms, it’ll be 48 hours before release. PC doesn’t quite fare as well, as the Epic Games Store will not have any pre-loading, and for Steam it has yet to be determined when the time will be, so it’s unclear when or if it will get a pre-load option. The game is also coming to Stadia on the same date, but since that is purely streaming based, there will be no pre-load needed. For launch times, those on consoles will be able to access the game at midnight in their respective country, while those on PC and Stadia will have a global unlock time of 9 am PDT on April 1st.
We managed to be part of a press event interview with developer People Can Fly that covered various aspects of the game, which you can read in full through here.
