Aside from the content in Path of Exile 2’s early access, including the new Atlas end-game, Grinding Gear Games released two new trailers. One showcases the opening cinematic, setting the tone for the terrible things occurring in Wraeclast, while the other offers some new gameplay. Check them out below.
Set 20 years after the first game, Path of Exile 2 sees the Count of Ogham harnessing the Seed of Corruption for his own needs and disposing of those who question him. Players start at the gallows as one of six classes and quickly escape to plot their opposition. The land has mutated from the Corruption, which means new and familiar monsters to fight.
How the story ends remains to be seen – only three Acts are available in early access – but the end-game involves traversing the world and cleansing it of Corruption. New Pinnacle bosses await alongside revamped mechanics like Breach, Delirium, Ritual, and more, promising fresh challenges and rewards.
Launching on December 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC at $29.99, Path of Exile 2 will be available in early access for at least six months.
