Path of Exile 2

With Path of Exile 2 on track for its early access launch in the coming weeks, Grinding Gear Games provided an extensive overview of what players can expect. A new FAQ confirmed that the first three Acts of the campaign would be available with 50 bosses and around 400 types of monsters. Early access will last “as long as needed”, though the team expects around six months.

Six classes will be available – the Warrior, Monk, Ranger, Witch, Sorceress, and Mercenary, with six more coming later. Couch co-op will also be available from the start, and there won’t be any wipes while early access is ongoing.

The developer also confirmed new Leagues during the period, with all characters going into the Early Access category. Those hoping to carry over their microtransactions from Path of Exile will have to wait – not all of them will be instantly usable. You can still rely on recent cosmetics and all your stash tabs, but those unavailable are marked as such.

Path of Exile 2 enters early access on December 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC for $29.99. The full game will have 100 bosses and six Acts. Head here for more details.
