Path of Exile: Crucible Announced, Launches April 7th for PC

A full reveal of the 3.21 expansion is set for March 30th at noon PDT with co-founder Chris Wilson answering a live Q&A afterwards.

Grinding Gear Games has finally revealed the name of Path of Exile’s next expansion – Crucible. It goes live on April 7th for PC and April 12th for Xbox and PlayStation. Check out the teaser trailer below, which shows a forge with lava and a massive statue overlooking the player.

The 3.21 expansion will be detailed on March 30th at noon PDT on the Path of Exile Twitch channel. In addition to learning about the content and new Challenge League, co-founder and managing director Chris Wilson will answer questions in a live Q&A session with ZiggyD.

Though there won’t be any Balance Manifestos before the reveal, Grinding Gear Games will still reveal detailed patch notes. It promised there weren’t any “scary systems reworks” and only some “small nerfs,” but we’ll need to wait for actual details. Stay tuned in the meantime.

Path of Exile is free on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and is backwards compatible with Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
