Developer Owlcat Games and publisher Koch Media recently announced that Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will be arriving on consoles later this year. Announcing via post on the game’s official Steam page, the developers also released a dev diary focused on the fortress of Drezen. Check out the video down below.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an isometric RPG set in the fantasy world of Worldwound. There’s a great deal of flexibility in the game’s systems, with an option to choose between real-time or turn-based combat. Players are also free to choose a character from a number of classes, all of which feature a bunch of different spells and weapons. There’s also a party system that allows players to recruit companions for the long journey.
While the game’s digital release will be published by Koch Media itself, physical releases of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will fall under their newest Prime Matter label. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous releases for PC on September 2, while console releases of PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions have an unspecified release window of Fall 2021.
