Capcom’s Project Resistance is the new, asymmetrical multiplayer horror title set in the Resident Evil universe. It pits four survivors against a Mastermind, the latter using zombies and traps to ultimately take down our heroes. Closed beta registration is currently available but how does a typical match play out?
To showcase the same, Capcom has released a video showcasing a full match. Each survivor has their own unique abilities and talents to turn the tides in their favour. Relying on teammates is still required for getting out of traps or when caught by zombies. But as per the developer, Project Resistance can still be played offline in single-player format.
Project Resistance is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The closed beta starts on October 4th and ends on October 7th for consoles. Stay tuned for more details but in the meantime, check out producer Matt Walker’s comments on how Project Resistance is still inherently “survival horror at its core.”
