So it’s been well-known for a while now that the PlayStation 4 is incredibly powerful. While some, like Nvidia, have proclaimed that it will never be able to compare to what PCs are doing in the graphics department, others like Killzone developer Guerrilla Games are quick to state that they’ve “only scratched the surface” with the PS4.
In a post-mortem document for the Killzone: Shadow Fall demo showcased this past February, Guerrilla Games also revealed the following things it’s learned from creating the demo:
Killzone: Shadow Fall will be one of the launch titles when the PS4 goes on sales this Holiday season. It was apparently running on 3 GB of RAM and utilizing Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing or FXAA – a form of anti-aliasing that isn’t too taxing on the graphics card.
Of course, that demo wasn’t near the finished state so we expect it to look even better when it launches with Sony’s next generation console.
