Quantum Error Will Most Likely Launch In 2021

It seems the cosmic horror FPS won't be out in time for the PS5's launch.

TeamKill Media’s upcoming cosmic horror first person shooter Quantum Error was one of the first games to be confirmed for the PS5- but it seems it won’t be able to come out in time for the next-gen console’s launch. The developers had previously mentioned that they were unsure if the game would be PS5 launch title, and now that seems even more unlikely.

Over on Twitter, via the game’s official page, TeamKill Media recently stated that Quantum Error will “more than likely” release in 2021, but that it’s too early yet to nail down a specific release date. Not too long ago, they did say they were confident of being able to release within few months of the PS5’s launch, so if all goes well, hopefully the game will be out in the first half of next year.

Whenever it does come out, Quantum Error will release for PS4 and PS5. On the latter, it will feature ray-tracing support, as well as support for the DualSense’s unique features. An Xbox Series X launch hasn’t been confirmed, but the developers have said that it’s something that could possible happen down the road.
