A new trailer for TeamKill Media’s Quantum Error debuted at GamesRadar’s Future Games Show, showcasing some of the horrors that players will face. As seen below, you play as fireman Jacob Thomas who investigates a strange fire in the Monad Quantum Research Facility. To no one’s surprise, things have gone wrong.

What’s caused all these strange creatures to appear is unknown but Jacob and his crew must save whoever they can before evacuating. Some of that firefighting equipment comes in handy, especially as navigate environments in flames. You also have an axe because of course you do.

Quantum Error is currently in development for PS4 and PS5. The development team is planning for an “early PS5 launch” with the next-generation console being its lead platform. Overall, you can expect the story to offer 15 to 20 hours of gameplay. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months especially when a release date for the PS5 is finally revealed.
