Quantum Break became one of the first PS5 games to be officially revealed when it was announced not long ago, and even though we know that the developers plan on leveraging the console’s more powerful hardware to deliver better visuals, something we don’t yet know is when exactly the game will launch. Many have assumed that it will be a launch title for the PS5, or that it will release not long after the console is out, but as it turns out, even developers TeamKill Media aren’t yet sure of when the game will be out.

In a statement to Push Square, the developer said that though development is proceeding very well, they’re not yet sure whether the game will be out by the PS5’s launch, or how long it will take afterward if it doesn’t make that window.

“It is too early to say yet if Quantum Error will release by PS5 launch or how long after launch,” a TeamKill Media spokesperson said. “Development is going very fast and smooth but, there is still much to be done. So, we will see.”

Whenever Quantum Error does launch, it’ll release for both, PS4 and PS5. Recently in an interview, the developers told us that they’re focusing on the PS5 during development as the lead platform, while also talking about the game’s length- read more on that through here. That full interview will be live soon, so stay tuned for that.
