We still haven’t seen a whole lot from the upcoming PvE based Rainbow Six Quarantine. It was announced at this year’s E3 with beta signup that followed. The game will have be the sister series of sorts to the PvP based megahit Rainbow Six Siege. Now we have a vague idea of when the game will come out.
In the recent financial conference call for the company, CEO Yves Guillemot talked briefly about the game and revealed that it will release at the end of this fiscal year. The last quarter of a fiscal year actually bleeds into the beginning of the next in calendar terms, meaning the game will probably come out sometime at the beginning of 2020.
While Siege has been a huge success because of its continuous updates and its competitive nature, it’ll be interesting to see what a more cooperative take on the franchise will end up looking like when Rainbow Six Quarantine releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
