Red Dead Redemption 2 New Information Blowout: Gang Morale, Bond With Horse, Trading And More

We cover all of the new details about life as an outlaw that we've learnt from the new gameplay video.

The new gameplay video for Red Dead Redemption 2 was released a day ago and it offered us our first glimpse into what the game plays like. The video brought with it lots of new details regarding what the game will bring to players, and there’s a lot to be excited for.

Red Dead Redemption 2 explores the era when the age of outlaws is soon coming to an end. This explains why Arthur and his gang of outlaws are trying to escape from the pressures of modern and civilized life. It looks like Arthur can get to know each member of the gang personally as time goes on, and spending time with them can lead you to new secrets and opportunities. Furthermore, you can keep the gang’s morale high by providing food and supplies when needed. As we’ve already covered before, players will have a range of choices available to them, and these choices have their consequences. You can choose what kind of person Arthur becomes, who his friends and enemies are, and how honorable (or not) he is.

As for combat and action, every weapon type feels unique and has realistic reload and recoil. Additionally, the video also portrays how the bond with your horse is very important, and it will change based on how you treat the animal. As the bond between rider and horse grows over time, the horse will become easier to control during fights. Hunting will also play a very important role in the game as you hunt animals for supplies, and you can trade skins for animals and their carcasses at a variety of shops and vendors throughout the world. The next gameplay video will bring more information about the game and will deal with missions, enemy gangs, robberies, and more- so yeah, there’s a lot more to look forward to.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26. Take a look below at the new gameplay video.
