Red Dead Redemption 2’s Latest Patch Is Pretty Nondescript

Not much to speak of other than general stability improvements.

After rolling out update 1.04 for Red Dead Redemption 2 last week, Rockstar have released another quick follow up patch for the open world title. But while last week’s update was somewhat significant in the bugs that it fixed, among other things, the patch notes for update 1.05 for Red Dead Redemption 2 are pretty nondescript.

I say patch notes, but really, it’s just a patch note- singular. The newest title update makes general stability improvements, and also makes improvements to save data stability, in order to make sure that the game can continue to avoid any exploits arising out of issues related to these things. So yeah- not much to speak of here. Just a regular, run-off-the-mill stability improvement update. That said, size-wise, it’s not too small. On the PS4, it comes in at around 830 MB, and on the Xbox One, at 1.3 GB.

In somewhat related news, recently, there have been bugs spotted in both the single player and online component of Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which hint at possible upcoming content. The former hints at a Red Dead Redemption 1 remaster (maybe), while the latter suggests that new modes are incoming for Red Dead Online. Read more about both of them through the links.
