2.5D sci-fi platformer Replaced has looked like an intriguing prospect since it was first announced back in 2021, though the wait for the game has stretched on a little longer than most would have expected- and it seems it’s set to stretch on longer still.
In a recently published quarterly fiscal report, Thunderful Group – parent company of Replaced publisher Coatsink – has confirmed that Replaced will now launch in 2024. Though originally set to launch in 2022, in May last year, the game was delayed into 2023, with Belarus-based developer Sad Cat Studios confirming that production had been impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
In its aforementioned document, in a list of upcoming titles by external studios (page 11), Thunderful has mentioned a 2024 release window for Replaced (spotted by @HazzadorGamin on Twitter).
Replaced is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
