It was inevitable that when Resident Evil 2 was remade and ended up being a huge success that the third game would be behind shortly. No one quite expected it to come as quickly as it did. Rumors are that they were even going to be one game at one point in time, though I’m grateful that it will be its own thing. We now also know what the PC version of the game will need to run on the minimum.
Via the Steam page, we got the minimum requirements for the PC version of the game. It’s pretty close to Resident Evil 2, which isn’t too surprising. You will need NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 or the AMD Radeon R7 260x for the GPU and Intel Core i5-4460 or an AMD FX-6300 with 8GB of RAM. Unfortunately, as of now, the recommended requirements aren’t live yet. We’ll keep you posted when they are.
Resident Evil 3 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 3rd, 2020. You can check out the previous game if you haven’t with new demo that just went live.
