We’re about to revisit Raccoon City once more with another remake that’s set to come out early next year with Resident Evil 3. It will follow the remake of Resident Evil 2 that kicked off 2019. Something also seems to be afoot as well, as more mysterious things are popping up that seem to be some type of connecting tissue between the two.

A new demo released out of nowhere for Resident Evil 2 called the R.P.D. demo. It the 1-shot demo that was released before the game’s launch, just with the timer taken off. But that’s not the only difference, as they’ve added a little easter egg with the scream of the Nemesis, the main monster from Resident Evil 3. You can check it out below.

This doubles up with the new achievement that was added to Resident Evil 2 that also ties into the next game in the franchise. Will there be even more before Resident Evil 3 releases on April 3rd? We’ll have to wait and see.
