Resident Evil 4 Remake Tops Weekly UK Retail Charts Again

Meanwhile, Gotham Knights re-entered the charts at No. 6, with retail promotions leading to a 999% increase in sales.

Last week’s Gfk charts for physical game sales in UK saw Resident Evil 4 Remake debuting in pole position, and in the newest weekly charts (via GamesIndustry), Capcom’s survival horror remake has held on to the top spot. It sees a 69% week-on-week drop in sales, but is still comfortably the top selling game, with FIFA 23 coming in at No. 2 and Hogwarts Legacy slotting in at No. 3.

Meanwhile, several previous releases enjoyed weekly boosts in sales thanks to retail promotions and discounts. One of these was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which took the No. 4 spot thanks to a 58% increase in sales from last week. Gotham Knights also re-entered the charts at No. 6, enjoying a whopping 999% increase in sales.

Super Mario Odyssey also remained in the top 10, enjoying another slight boost in sales of 5% thanks to the hype surrounding the upcoming The Super Mario Bros. Movie, while elsewhere, the chart was occupied by evergreen sellers like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Minecraft
