Resident Evil 6 reviews: Has the most “content and variety” than previous games

Looks like it will turn out to be a good game after all.

We have the first score for Resident Evil 6 courtesy of the Playstation: The Official Magazine, and the score is not a surprise. The game got a solid 9/10 score and the reviewer praised it for being an unforgettable game.

Our preview was a little scathing, so it’s good to see the game scoring well here, although, it’s better if more reviews come out so that we get a better idea of how many critics like the game. However, the Playstation magazine mentioned that the game has the most content and variety compared to the previous games in the series.

“There’s more content and variety here than in any other entry in the series, and its stories – while a little too goofy to really take seriously – are nonetheless fascinating, particularly for those of us who’ve watched these characters grow and develop over the years…RE6 is a strange experience, to be sure – but more importantly, it’s an unforgettable one,” the review read, via Metacritic.

We also have a review which is not on Metacritic but bashed it for being a poor Resident Evil game. They said the Resident Evil brand is dead, ouch.

“Resident Evil is dead and this sixth chapter does nothing but increase the sense of nostalgia and sadness of those who still has fond memories of the early chapters of the series.”
