They have revealed that Resident Evil 6 has shipped 4.8 million units, and it has done better than they originally expected. Their original forecast was 4.5 million. They have also mentioned that the game has lost momentum after selling well early on.

“The flagship title “Resident Evil 6″ (for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360), despite recording brisk sales when it debuted, subsequently lost its momentum, resulting in the failure to achieve planned sales and fulfill its role as a driver of sales expansion.”

They have released the sales of Dragon’s Dogma as well and it has shipped 1.3 million. Capcom had originally forecasted 1.5 million for the game.
