Resident Evil 7 is surprisingly shaping up into an excellent survival horror game. Taking inspiration from the likes of Outlast and P.T., Resident Evil 7 plans to bring the series back to its root. Recently, popular Spanish magazine Hobbyconsolas got their hands on the game and they have revealed some interesting new information about the game.
First of all, Resident Evil 7’s campaign will last around 14-16 hours, according to the magazine. This is in line with previous Resident Evil games. This could vary depending on how quickly you solve puzzles and find VHS collectibles. But overall a 14-16 hours long campaign is certainly good news for hardcore fans. The magazine also revealed that the last name of Ethan and Mia is Winters and the game has a ton of references to previous entries in the series.
Furthermore, you have to manually save at cassettes in Normal difficulty but this is changed while playing the game in Madhouse difficulty. Resident Evil 7 is due in January 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
