Resident Evil 7’s newest patch adds Xbox One X enhancements to the game—and, much like has been the case with so many other games that received Xbox One X enhancements, there are substantial differences in how the game looks on Microsoft’s super powered console compared to how it looks on a base Xbox One or an Xbox One S.
If you don’t believe it, this brand new trailer for the game shows off and highlights these differences. If you haven’t played the game already, this is probably the scariest the immersive first person horror game will be—outside of playing it in VR on PlayStation VR, anyway.
Resident Evil 7 launched last year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It was one of the best games of last year (which is saying something, given how great the year was for games), as well as a great reinvention for the Resident Evil franchise.
