It’s not long now before Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem launches for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Those who pre-ordered on PC can now pre-load the title, but depending on your time zone, you may be able to return to Raccoon City ahead of the pack.
Starting February 26th, 9 PM PST, those living in Los Angeles can begin their journey. However, the rest of the world on consoles can seemingly start playing at midnight local time. PC players outside of the United States, on the other hand, adhere to the Pacific Standard Time. So it’s possible that spoilers could appear courtesy of console players who managed to go hands-on earlier.
To further complicate things, Nintendo Switch 2 players in Mexico City and Sao Paulo will receive access on February 26th at 11 PM CST and February 27th at 2 AM BRT, respectively. Not at midnight like other regions. Regardless, you should be careful of any spoilers on the day of release. As far as Capcom is concerned, it fulfilled its mission by ensuring the day-one experience remained pure.
Alongside Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, Resident Evil Requiem will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Check out the latest trailer, featuring Leon S. Kennedy’s return to the Raccoon Police Department and other terrors.
