When the PlayStation VR2 launches next week, it’ll have a couple of major titles in its library to boast about right off the bat. One of those that has got quite a few people excited is Resident Evil Village, which will receive a free update on the day of the PS VR2’s launch that will make the entire game playable in VR. Ahead of its launch, Capcom has now released a new gameplay trailer for it.
Unsurprisingly, Resident Evil Village VR Mode is looking quite promising- though those who played Resident Evil 7 on the original PS VR are unlikely to be surprised at the level of quality on display here. The trailer, which you can check out below, showcases glimpses of combat (including a mid-game boss fight), a number of locations from the game, some VR-exclusive interactions (including a new way to control inventory management), and more.
Capcom has also announced that a demo of the upcoming VR Mode will be available for free on the day of the update’s launch itself, so those who want to take a test drive before diving in will have the option to do so.
Resident Evil Village VR Mode launches for PlayStation VR2 on February 22.
