Ubisoft’s Rocksmith+ has proven to be great source of learning music through play for fans across the globe, and the game will finally be making its way to Steam after being available on PC via the Ubisoft Store. Ubisoft announced this news via an official tweet, and you can check that out down below.
Rocksmith+ is a subscription-based game that lets players learn guitar, bass, or piano by plugging in their real instruments and following along to on-screen prompts as you would get in a rhythm game like Guitar Hero. There’s a swath of licensed songs from a bunch of different genres to learn, and Ubisoft continues to add new arrangements on a weekly basis.
The exact details of the Steam release aren’t known at the moment, but there’s a good chance that it will be out sooner than later. For context, subscription plans are available at $14.99, $39.99, and $99.99 for 1, 3, and 12 months respectively.
